Weekly Friends TV Quote!
ROSS: I don't know whether he's testing me, or just acting out, but my monkey is out of control. But, he keeps erasing the messages on my machine, supposedly by accident.
RACHEL: Oh, yeah, I've done that.
ROSS: And then, like three days in a row he got to the newspaper before I did and pee-ed all over the crossword.
RACHEL: I've never done that.

Dilemna Diverted
1. I rarely go on the internet on the phone... we are wasting money on a data plan since I don't use it.
2. The new iphone may have 3g capability making the internet faster, but it drains the battery fast... I hate having a phone that has a fast draining battery.
3. I don't listen to my ipod on the phone
4. I don't go on youtube
5. I use a paper calendar and not the one on the phone.
6. There is no MMS which sucks when everyone sends me these messages and I have to log in online just to see what they sent.
So in actuallity I am not using the phone to the fullest extent it should be used. I used email on the phone, and I now have it on this Shine as well. I can make personal ringtones, which I love to do on this new phone as well. The best part of the phone... I have a battery that will last me and it won't freeze, and I have a bluetooth YAY!!! I can talk on the phone in the car if I have to WOO HOO!!!
Okay now onto my trip to the South Coast Plaza. This was the first time I had ever set foot into the mall and man was I impressed. The mall is HUGE and my kind of mall. I did feel out of place because I had no make up and just threw on my capris and a Target tank. My flip flops look like they have been through the ringer. I am the epitamy of fashion right? Eric better come into some money, because when I get my post pregnancy body back he is in trouble. The one downside to the store is that they do not have a White and Black store. Other than that I was in shopping heaven. How do I go back to the local malls when I have stepped into the mall of all malls. I know there are better ones out there, but I have yet to visit them!
Hope your weekend is starting to be a great one! I hope tomorrow will be the best! So stay tuned for my story about my Baby Shower day! Woo Hoo!
A Dilemna!
Well today I went in wanting the new iphone 3g... Like I said in my earlier blog I am a sucker for all things cell phones. As I was thinking about all the things an iphone can do I remembered the commercial with Lauren Conrad promoting the new LG shine. Both phones look so cool, but each one has an equal amount of pros and cons.
With the LG shine I can once again get multimedia messaging which I do miss from Motorola Razor. However I would have to go back to the T9 way of texting. It also has video, but no google maps. The iphone now has gps, which is I love because I hate getting lost (yes I do once in a great while). It has the internet and now Apple has come out with applications that do not need the internet to access (like downloading a game for a cell phone and just playing it). Also with the LG shine the camera has a flash! I cannot make up my mind at all! I know not an important dilemna, but hey this is the most excitment I have had in a while!!
So, I have finally realized that nothing is safe when a 7 year old sponge is near you! Eric and I talk a lot about random stuff when we are in the car. We put Angela's music on in the car and hold conversations. I always hope the conversations are muffled by Angela's obsession of the moment... The Jonas Brothers. I have learned that I better be careful about what I say, because miss Angela is one who rats people out. If you have a secret that you want the world to know then please tell her, because the mission will be completed in seconds! Man you gotta love her! So now I cannot spell things out, because of course she is good at decoding them, and 2 trying to tune us out with music. What is a mom to do now? At least I get a do over with Emma... 7 more years till these don't work on her!
I will let y'all know what decision I make tomorrow. I either go to the At&t store to get the LG shine or the Apple store to get the iphone 3G. I am so torn... ha ha!

Can't Sleep anymore... so I blog!
First off... my friend Tena tagged me for a MEME (don't know what a MEME stands for... dense I know). Secondly I do not know 5 people on here, so I will be unable to tag a single soul (sorry for being a dead end).
This MEME says to write a 6 worded memoir. I have been thinking about this for a couple days and think I have something worth writing:
Children are a gift from God!
Now onto some randomness for the preggo:
I am 35 weeks pregnant today, so that means 5 weeks till my due date! So happy it is getting closer, and I will be able to hold my baby in my arms, but nervous about the impending labor. I now see why the human brain forgets pain after some time. If we remembered pain I bet we would have a lot of one child families! Usually I am pretty strong, but lately I have been have anxiety ridden moments... mainly at night when I cannot sleep.
Today I get my new cell phone. I am a true cell phone junky! I love all the fun things cell phones can do. My other one is on the fritz (my fault) and my husband has kindly agreed that I need to get a new one. With the end of the pregnancy coming to a close I need to be able to reach the outside world without waiting for my now cell to be nice to me and actually work for once. So, if I have ignored calls or texts it is because my phone battery drains like my energy these days.
So, last night was our weekly concert in the park night. It is a time of picnic while listening to great music. Kids run around and play and dance to the music. This is a summer tradition we have had now for about 4-5 years. Unfortunately last nights good music was tainted by drama that got the park patrons all excited (not happy excited, but oh what's going on excited). Of course where we sit was a front row seating of the spectacles. First, this poor teenager was brought limping over to the Sheriffs that always come to this every week. I look down and lo and behold I see his leg covered in blood. I shriek and turn away cause I hate the sight of nasty cuts and a lot of blood. Well the paramedics and ambulance came to take the boy to the hospital... I definitely saw stitches in his future. Now what gets me is the fact that people actually crowded around the boy just to see what was going on. They didn't care about his well-being but just had to know what was going on. Get a life people! I swear all I saw was the image of Brittany Spears being crowded by the paparazzi while being taken to the hospital by ambulance.
After that excitement died down a couple of officers come walking back to their squad cars with a man who looked to be drunk as a skunk. They take him to a car and start patting him down. Well this man did not like being violated, because he started resisting them. A couple more officers come including a park patron (don't know what he was thinking) get him cuffed and in the back of the car. All of a sudden I hear pounding, look over and the man has kicked out the window of the squad car. Sheriff pepper sprays the man, which in turn aggravates him more and he turns to do the same to the other window. What he was accomplishing I have no idea. I would have loved to see him try and actually climb out of the car from the window while handcuffed. About 5 minutes later 5 more cars bolt to the scene. In my head I am thinking "How many officers does it take to get a drunken man to the station?". After all this is Lakewood and what else do the officers have to do? So, this was a nice change for them... they actually got to get in on some action.
Poor Angela freaked out over it, even though we were laughing at the situation. If you there you would have found it comical as well. Eric and I made sure to tell Angela.. "This is what happens when you drink and use drugs (they pulled something out of his pocket not sure if it was drug paraphernalia)." I hope she remembers this every time she is tempted to follow any any of those acts! What she doesn't know are my teen stories and she NEVER WILL!!! What she doesn't know won't hurt her. Let's hope this tactic works!
So I have been wanting to do a Thursday 13 related to the one thing that can free my thoughts and calm me down after a long day. This would be the show Friends. Next week stay tuned for my 13 favorite quotes from when Rachel was pregnant with Emma (like the name... coincidence I think not).
I am now going to try and get a couple more hours of sleep. HAHA not likely. I will probably end up reading my book, "Something Borrowed" by Emily Giffin. This is a great read and highly recommended!
Good Morning to all of you early risers!

These are a few of my favorite things!
This is one of my most favorite things to do. Even as a teenager I would bring a stack of books on vacation. I would even read them all. Back then I read Sweet Valley High books, or those R.L. Stine books. Now my taste has matured. I actually read different genres all the time. I would stay up all night reading if I could handle the exhaustion during the day!
2. Internet

This is my achillies heel! This is also why I don't read as much during the day! From Myspace, to Cafemom, to Pogo I could be on the computer for hours on end. I trully need to pull myself away from the computer in order to get things done. I will browse post after post on Cafemom and before I know an hour had gone by. Those who know me know that I would rather email and now blog instead of talking on the phone. There is another form of communication that I love, but that is for my number 3 favorite thing!
3. My cellphone

Everyone knows that I am obsessed with current cell phones. Well my most current is the iphone! I stood in line for 3 hours the day they came out, because I just HAD to have one! I absolutely love my phone. Sadly yes I there are many others I would love to try, but I am stuck with my contract for another year before I can upgrade. Now within my cell phone I love text messaging. I spend all day texting my hubby while he is at work. I was really excited when my mom learned how to, but she decided to get rid of it and save money. My phone has personalized ringtones from my fave songs, and those who I talk to most have thier own ringtone for when they call. I know I am not as bad as most out there, but I am not an average cell phone person.
This post is dedicated to the materialisic things I cannot do without. The list could go on and on, but as the title states these are just a FEW of my favorite things! OOps there goes my phone... the hubby has texted me back!!! Peace Out!!
