One day a little girl came home from school, and said to her mother, "Mommy, today in school I was punished for something that I didn't do."The mother exclaimed, "But that's terrible! I'm going to have a talk with your teacher about this ... by the way, what was it that you didn't do?"The little girl replied, "My homework."

Monday Funny and A Good Cause!

Today's funny is for those moms who have crazy GNO's (girls night out)!

Two women friends had gone out for a Girls Night Out, and had been decidedly over-enthusiastic on the cocktails. Incredibly drunk and walking home they suddenly realized they both needed to pee. They were very near a graveyard and one of them suggested they do their business behind a headstone or something. The first woman had nothing to wipe with so she took off her panties, used them and threw them away. Her friend however was wearing an expensive underwear set and didn't want to ruin hers, but was lucky enough to salvage a large ribbon from a wreath that was on a grave and proceeded to wipe herself with it. After finishing, they made their way home.The next day the first woman's husband phones the other husband and said, "These damn girls nights out have got to stop. My wife came home last night without her panties." "That's nothing," said the other. "Mine came back with a sympathy card stuck between the cheeks of her butt that said, 'From all of us at the Fire Station, Well never forget you!'

I said long ago that I want to participate in the local triathlon. That was before the whole gall bladder debacle. Well that put a hindrance on the training, so that goal fell short. I now have a new goal and I need all the help I can get!

What is the new goal?

I am going to participate in the 3 day breast cancer walk in San Diego, Ca. I have registered and I begin my training this week. The walk is November 20-22 so that gives me 44 weeks to train for 60 mile walk. In these 44 weeks I must raise $2,300. So, I am reaching out to the blogging community in my help for a great cause! I am new to this so if you have any tips I would love to know how to get donations! If you would like to donate I would be forever grateful! Any amount would be awesome! My goal is to at least raise $230 a month. When you put it that way it doesn't sound that bad.

Monday Funny!

Today's Monday funny comes from the January issue of Cosmo. My favorite part Cosmo Confessions! I just had to include it as a Monday Funny so enjoy!

"After and abnormal pap, I went home to show my mom a pamphlet about cervical issues. When she finished reading it, I stuck it in my back pocket. Later, I decided to take my younger brother out for ice cream. We picked our flavors and walked around looking for a table where we could eat. Then we drove to a gas station to fill up the car. When I got out and went over to the pump, my brother said, 'Would you please just take that pamphlet out of you back pocket? I'm sick of looking at it.' A small portion of the flyer was sticking out of my back pocket-the only words that were visible were your cervix. I'd spent the entire afternoon advertising that on my butt"

As a special treat here is another confession for you to enjoy...

"I work retail. During my shift, I was at the register when a preteen boy came up and put some clothes down on the counter. I'm required to tell customers about our fragrances, so I asked if he needed any new cologne. I rang him up and told him the total, at which point he gave me a credit card. I was surprised that the name on it was a female one. I asked if it was his mom's. He handed me an ID, and when I looked at it, I realized my embarrassing mistake: It had been a woman I'd been ringing up the whole time. My face flushed, and I stumbled over words as I tried to make a pathetic excuse for the mix-up."

Laughter is the Best Medicine!

Princess In Training has become my serious baby. She does smile, but she does not give out her laughs freely! I have been trying to get them on video for some time, but she never laughs long enough. Angela seems to be the one that can get her to laugh with the silliest movements. This was taken last night right before "P-I-T"s bathtime!

Monday Funny!

I was going to do a different post but thought what better way to start the week with another installment of a Monday Funny! This picture comes from my own archives. This is a picture of Sassy as a baby. This is how she entertained herself in the pack and play. She would press her face against like a child would up against a window. This is one of my most favorite pictures of her first year... one of the funniest by far!!

***Today is my surgery (posted this the night before). Hoping it doesn't keep me from posting tomorrow... so if I don't you know why!! I hope to post soon as a woman with one less organ :0)***

Who Needs Toys...

YWhen you have a Target bag! I had it near her feet and she would kick and kick and kick! Princess In Training loves the way it sounds! She played with it for almost 10 minutes! I know this will never stop me from buying those cute toys I see.

Mondays can be hard, so I am going to start them on a funny note! A Monday funny will either be a video, cartoon, or even just a picture that will get chuckles or "rolling on the floor laughing"! For my second Monday of doing this I am choosing a video that upon seeing I couldn't stop laughing! I know you will be on the floor soon!!

A Monday Funny

I always find Mondays hard to get back into the same old routine, especially when we have had a great weekend together as a family. Since this is exactly how I feel today I thought why not begin the week on a brighter note! I thought I would share a video of a comedienne that I came across through an email years ago. I find her absolutely hilarious and I think you will too!

Too Funny to wait!!!

I had to post this, because after reading my friend Jaime's blog and kids saying the darnedest things I just had a moment like that!!!



Angela is sitting here next to me looking up words in her dictionary (children's dictionary) and was looking at the letter "f" words. Well she got a picture that looks similar to this... titled fertilization.

All of a sudden I hear... "Aww tadpoles". I look over and I see this pic and I am laughing so hard inside. I wasn't about to correct her because I am not really in the mood for the "birds and the bees talk just yet. Then she goes on to say that it is was either hair or tadpoles... so classic!!! Just had to share!
