Weekly Friends TV Quote!

Season 1 Episode 16 TOW Two Parts, Part

ROSS: I don't know whether he's testing me, or just acting out, but my monkey is out of control. But, he keeps erasing the messages on my machine, supposedly by accident.

RACHEL: Oh, yeah, I've done that.

ROSS: And then, like three days in a row he got to the newspaper before I did and pee-ed all over the crossword.

RACHEL: I've never done that.

I am back!

After a long needed week off to relax and take care of myself and kids with colds I am back to blog! My sister yelled at me yesterday about my week off. She kept coming by to see that my day off turned into a whole week... so here I am Ashley!

Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Other than colds and my gall stone attacks it was a great weekend! Emma and Angela looked so cute in their Thanksgiving outfits! Here is a sister pic I took that night.

Sassy's soccer team made it to the Friendship Cup this year, so we are very excited! They ended the season in 2nd place! It is nice to know that Sassy has found something she loves to do and always strives to be better!

Emma will be 4 months a week from today! I can't believe how fast the time is flying! She is just so much fun! She laughs and plays with me during the day. Angela is our life saver, because she can calm Emma down no matter what! Here is a pic of Emma playing.

Next week I have my surgery, so I will try and update as much as I can next week. Eric is off all this month so I know I will be able to recover nicely! I end this post a pic of our first Thanksgiving as a family of 4!

A Thousand Words Thursday!

Cheaper Than Therapy

I very rarely talk about my parents on here, but I should start because they are AWESOME! Not sure if I should start here since as you can see I am introducing my pops on a birthday. Well not just and ordinary birthday, but THE birthday, the big 5-0. As you can see my dad looks more than thrilled! I was lucky I even got a picture, because like my sister my dad will do anything to stay away from the camera! I know you read this Ash and you will be on here soon! MUAHAHAHA!!!

Back to my pops! He is the best father a girl could have! Not only will he drop everything to be there for you, but he and my step mom gave me my little brother! I wish they lived closer, because I miss seeing them everyday! What makes my dad even more awesome was how he became a father to my older brother! He may not be his biological father, but became his father and I think did a better job!

Whoa Boy!

See that adorable little boy? No, he isn't my long lost son. This mommy only pops out princesses! This little Prince is my baby brother! Yep, baby brother! Well now a toddler brother! He was born March 31, 2007 and we are 27 years apart. What I don't tell most people is that when I first found out my dad and step-mom were going to have a baby I had mixed feelings. My dad has 4 children already and all grown-adults. He was going to become epitome of starting over! With that said I was very involved as much I could. I helped with the baby shower, called to ask about the pregnancy, and I drove up to them the minute I heard she was in labor! The minute I looked into that babies face my heart melt! Right away the big sis protector stepped in! I swore that I would always be there for him when he couldn't go to his parents. I swore I would spoil him just like my own children! Sadly, they don't live near me and I don't see him often. When people ask if I am having anymore children and I tell them no they ask, "Don't you want to try for a boy?" I honestly have my little boy, my little brother. I get to watch him grow, and Eric and I have been honored with being his Godparents! He is one of the many loves of my life! What is great is when Sassy says "My baby uncle." Classic!

A Thousand Words Thursday!

This picture was taken on September 4th, 2008 my grandfathers first birthday in heaven. I took the girls to his grave site so we could bring flowers and introduce Princess In Training to her great-grandfather! Sassy was very close to her great-grandfather and his death hit her hard. Sadly, she saw first hand how cancer can deteriorate a person! She absolutely loved him and in this picture she was hugging him, while telling him Happy Birthday! This picture may remind me that he will never meet "P-I-T", but it is precious all the same!

This is my first Thousand Word Thursday! I got the idea from Jen over at Cheaper Than Therapy... check her out and join in on the fun!

My mind is a wandering!

As I lay to go to sleep my mind wanders through a world of thoughts... Know what these thoughts are... Topics for this blog. They sound great in my head and I get really excited for my chance to blog the next day. Well the next day comes and where are my great ideas... *poof* gone, MIA. It is like a great dream you have that you use all the fibers of your being to remember every single detail! I keep telling myself that I need to sleep with a notebook right under my pillow, so I can write these great ideas down!

So can someone tell me where my easy baby went. I knew as soon as I told the world how lucky I was to have a baby that just went to sleep and never fussed that I would be eating my words. Poor Princess In Training has been having belly issues. We are now playing the elimination game of what formulas will work better. This is new territory for us, because we could give Sassy anything and she never had problems. Heck this child never spit up. After 3 nights of cuddling a colicky baby this mommy just wants to wave a wand and fix her baby! Next on our list is trying soy. If you have any advice I am all ears!

My wonderful mother went back to school this semester. She realized during her recuperation of her knee surgery that she wants do something more with her life. So, she has started by taking a online class on typography. My mom is one of the most creative person I know... she can paint, draw, sew, do woodwork, do embroidery, etc. So, typography is next on her list I guess. Well I got a call last night asking me to come over and help her figuring out the site her class is using. (Eric is the go to on all things computer and I am the go to on all things school) I show her what she needs to do and she then jokingly (well half joking) asks if I will write her papers. You want to know something... I would so do it too! I love school and writing papers I loved to do, especially if it were a 2 page paper.... piece of cake! I am so proud of my mom! She is amazing and it is so cute to see her get so excited over going to school!

Well Emma is starting to wake up again... pray we find a cure to the belly issues!

ANGELA IS HOME!!

I know I just posted but I wanted a separate post about Angela!! She is on solid ground and at the comforts and safety of home! Just kidding! I am so happy that she had the experience to travel to a new and strange city. She experience many new things in San Fransisco like traveling on the BART, which goes under water. She also went to the Exploratorium, aquarium, and she did something I would NEVER do... go over the Golden Gate bridge! This is mommy is scared of heights! She told me that she got to go to a BIG mall. She even went to Bloomingdale's (or Bloomies by the locals). My BIL was buying her clothes for her birthday and even let her look around in Bloomies. My MIL told me that even the clothing 40% off was too expensive. Angela I guess was bummed, because there was a shirt she wanted. I told her that is okay, because there is no way that my daughter would own clothes from Bloomies before me. But you want to know the big thing she had to tell me? This mall had NO toy store! I think I should move there for that reason alone!! A mall with no toy store is my kind of mall!! All in all the trip went very well minus some nightmares and one melt down, but hey she is 7 and this is normal! I am so happy she is home! She was so surprised by our room and how the crib looks, and most of all seeing her room clean and organized. I do ask this... Do any of you go into your children's rooms and look in a cabinet and find dirty clothes and trash stuffed in them? Eric and I are going to have to have a talk with her about what gets cleaned, what gets put into dirty clothes hamper, and what is trash!
The downside of the trip is she came home stuffy, which happens to me when I fly!

My time alone is now done, and I don't know when I will have a home without children. All in all I feel very accomplished with what was done. I got our room reorganized along with Angela's! Now that the upstairs rooms are complete I now tackle downstairs. Last though is the bathrooms... I hate cleaning bathrooms!

I hope you have had a wonderful Monday!

It's 9:35 pm... do you know where your kids are?

Well I know of one for sure! Emma is sitting in my womb cooking away! Please cross everything that it is only for 2 more weeks!
I know Angela is in San Fransisco, and I know who she is with. Do I know for sure where she is? No. I trust my MIL with my precious angel, but the preggo hormones are on edge. I have never been without my little one for this long! Okay I have but Eric was with her. She also went on a plane without one of her parents AHHH! I hate (and I don't use the word ever, but I do with this topic) flying! If we were meant to fly God would give us wings. People were made to be on the ground and not in the air! So, with that being said, knowing my baby was going on a plane without me really put me on edge! As soon as I got the text that stated, "We landed" I was finally able to relax again. I can relax until Monday when they fly home. While there they were going to go on my BIL's fiance's boat, but it is getting repaired. I am actually okay with that. All I could see is my baby going overboard and them not being able to save her. Now don't get me wrong I trust who she is with, but hey I am pregnant and my emotions and mental state get the best of me! UGH I wish I could just listen to Eric and relax and not worry, but isn't that what mommies do... worry? At least this mommy does.
At least I wasn't as lonely as I thought I was going to be. I got to have dinner with my mom. CPK is just the best place... Yum Yum! My aunt, uncle, and cousins came over for birthday pie for my uncles birthday. I always have fun when they are around! I always have so much fun when they are around!
So, I just got off the phone with my baby... you never know how much you love that little ones voice until you actually miss it! In one day she went on a plane, a bus, train aka BART, and a taxi... puts a new spin on planes, trains, and automobiles! I just can't wait till Monday when I get my Angela hug!
Well I am off to try and get some shut eye, because tomorrow I have so much to TRY and do... try being the operative word. One thing that I will be doing is seeing Mama Mia... SO EXCITED! This will be my last time away from children to do something for me, because my life is about to change BIG TIME! I also hope to get some cleaning done after a nap... yes I definitely am including that in my schedule!
I absolutely loved doing a Friends themed Thursday 13! I definitely want to do another. I am now in the process of trying thinking up another topic. There are so many to choose from so I have to narrow it down.
Hope you are enjoying your Friday!!!

Baby Shower and more!

*** I hope to post some pics of the baby shower later... I am upstairs with my lap top and the camera is downstairs... Stairs are my enemy right now!***

Yesterday was my baby shower! My aunt, mom, and mother in law did a fabulous job putting it all together! They are truly the best! I had so much fun being with my family and friends, some I haven't seen in a while! It was a lot smaller than than Angela's and only females were invited, which I wanted this time around. I am obsessed with pink this time around. Angela's theme was more neutral and she loves the color pink. I am the opposite this time around, so I am wondering if Emma will be repulsed by the color when she is older. We did a brunch theme and all the food was yummy. The cake turned out so beautiful! (will have pics posted soon)! I loved all my gifts. Emma will be styling in all her clothes. All the gifts will be used! I love getting shampoos and such because the bottles are so big that I know that I will never have to buy them. It was the best day ever and I appreciate all that was done to make the day that special! A special thanks to my photographer Brenna!

This week I enter my 9th month. The end is really near! With the baby shower having come and gone I now feel ready for her to be here! I have everything I need and now I just need the baby to for it all to be used! I think Emma has sensed my calmness, because I had more braxton hicks than usual today. Today I go to the doctor for my strep B test. He is also going to check for dialation while at it. I am hoping for some small progress. I doubt it, but still keeping my fingers crossed.

This Friday Angela is going to San Fransisco with my mother in law to visit my brother in law and his fiance. I am so excited for her to go, but also anxious because my baby has never been that far away without me. I know I will cry when she leaves. I just pray Emma doesn't decide to come while they are gone! I hope Emma loves her sister enough to stay put!

I wanted to include more, but for once I am actually tired early and I have to get up early for my appointment. So I will leave off with a to be continued...

Can't Sleep anymore... so I blog!

I fell asleep at an okay hour last night or first thing today (was around midnight) and found myself wide awake at 5am. It is now 5:52 am and I am still not asleep. So, that being said I thought I would blog some randomness!

First off... my friend Tena tagged me for a MEME (don't know what a MEME stands for... dense I know). Secondly I do not know 5 people on here, so I will be unable to tag a single soul (sorry for being a dead end).

This MEME says to write a 6 worded memoir. I have been thinking about this for a couple days and think I have something worth writing:

Children are a gift from God!

Now onto some randomness for the preggo:

I am 35 weeks pregnant today, so that means 5 weeks till my due date! So happy it is getting closer, and I will be able to hold my baby in my arms, but nervous about the impending labor. I now see why the human brain forgets pain after some time. If we remembered pain I bet we would have a lot of one child families! Usually I am pretty strong, but lately I have been have anxiety ridden moments... mainly at night when I cannot sleep.

Today I get my new cell phone. I am a true cell phone junky! I love all the fun things cell phones can do. My other one is on the fritz (my fault) and my husband has kindly agreed that I need to get a new one. With the end of the pregnancy coming to a close I need to be able to reach the outside world without waiting for my now cell to be nice to me and actually work for once. So, if I have ignored calls or texts it is because my phone battery drains like my energy these days.

So, last night was our weekly concert in the park night. It is a time of picnic while listening to great music. Kids run around and play and dance to the music. This is a summer tradition we have had now for about 4-5 years. Unfortunately last nights good music was tainted by drama that got the park patrons all excited (not happy excited, but oh what's going on excited). Of course where we sit was a front row seating of the spectacles. First, this poor teenager was brought limping over to the Sheriffs that always come to this every week. I look down and lo and behold I see his leg covered in blood. I shriek and turn away cause I hate the sight of nasty cuts and a lot of blood. Well the paramedics and ambulance came to take the boy to the hospital... I definitely saw stitches in his future. Now what gets me is the fact that people actually crowded around the boy just to see what was going on. They didn't care about his well-being but just had to know what was going on. Get a life people! I swear all I saw was the image of Brittany Spears being crowded by the paparazzi while being taken to the hospital by ambulance.

After that excitement died down a couple of officers come walking back to their squad cars with a man who looked to be drunk as a skunk. They take him to a car and start patting him down. Well this man did not like being violated, because he started resisting them. A couple more officers come including a park patron (don't know what he was thinking) get him cuffed and in the back of the car. All of a sudden I hear pounding, look over and the man has kicked out the window of the squad car. Sheriff pepper sprays the man, which in turn aggravates him more and he turns to do the same to the other window. What he was accomplishing I have no idea. I would have loved to see him try and actually climb out of the car from the window while handcuffed. About 5 minutes later 5 more cars bolt to the scene. In my head I am thinking "How many officers does it take to get a drunken man to the station?". After all this is Lakewood and what else do the officers have to do? So, this was a nice change for them... they actually got to get in on some action.

Poor Angela freaked out over it, even though we were laughing at the situation. If you there you would have found it comical as well. Eric and I made sure to tell Angela.. "This is what happens when you drink and use drugs (they pulled something out of his pocket not sure if it was drug paraphernalia)." I hope she remembers this every time she is tempted to follow any any of those acts! What she doesn't know are my teen stories and she NEVER WILL!!! What she doesn't know won't hurt her. Let's hope this tactic works!

So I have been wanting to do a Thursday 13 related to the one thing that can free my thoughts and calm me down after a long day. This would be the show Friends. Next week stay tuned for my 13 favorite quotes from when Rachel was pregnant with Emma (like the name... coincidence I think not).

I am now going to try and get a couple more hours of sleep. HAHA not likely. I will probably end up reading my book, "Something Borrowed" by Emily Giffin. This is a great read and highly recommended!

Good Morning to all of you early risers!

Not so manic Monday!

Eric is officially on vacation!!! WOO HOO!!! Today we kicked it off with a trip to Sea World! Of course in the back of my mind I was worried about being that far from home. Well the night before I did not sleep well and the morning sickness came that morning, actually it could have been car sickness. I have NEVER gotten car sick so I had a hard time believing it. The drive went fairly quickly, except the last 10 minutes in which we sat in traffic. Once we parked I couldn't get out of the car fast enough. Fresh air is truly a blessing!!! I told Eric to pick the first place to go and I was going to sit near a bathroom (luckily I remembered my book... they go everywhere I go). For an hour I sat there willing myself to not vomit! I won in the end SCORE!!! Once Eric, Angela, and Terri came from the Arctic area my color returned and I was back to my normal self YEA!!! We had a blast! My two faves of the day was feeding the dolphins. If you ever go to Sea World this is a must! It is the best experience for the whole family. The first trip to Seap World was when Angela was about 4. This time she seemed to take the experience in that much more! My second fave was the Shamu show. I waited in line with my MIL while Eric and Angela went on a ride. We were able to sit 6 rows from the front. Perfect eye level for the show. I just loved watching Angela's expressions when the Killer Whales were doing tricks right in front of us. My preggo emotional self almost started crying because of it! We were all pleasantly surprised by cousin Christopher showing up. He lives about 2 miles from Sea World. I swear everytime I am in San Diego I cannot get over how beautiful that area is! All in all it was a great day had by all! This is the way all Mondays should be spent! So promise me that whenever you stop by Sea World please feed the dolphins. The fish may cost 5 dollars, but the experience is well worth the price!!

Oh and just to inform y'all 6 WEEKS LEFT!!! The countdown is seriously beginning!!!!!!!! I can't believe I have been pregnant 8 and a half months! Please pray for a quick and easy delivery. I am also hoping for her to enter the world a little before her due date! Emma will score major points if she decides to come 2 weeks early!!

What a weekend!!!!

Okay so bear with me, because I have a novel to right!!! So sit back with a glass of wine... or other another beverage you like and enjoy!

So my weekend started Friday with a trip to the state capital to see Phantom of the Opera with my mother in law. This is my Christmas gift from my BIL and his fiance! So the flight went pretty smooth and I was able to get through it without freaking out too bad. I did watch the flight attendants every time turbulence hit just make sure they were still doing their thing. We got there about 1 pm and got to our hotel about 2. The hotel was pretty nice for our overnight trip. After a nap and getting as dolled up as a pregnant woman can get it was time for a night of fun! I got to say I was laughing as soon as my BIL and Erik picked us up. As soon as my BIL got out of the car he looks at me and says "Hey Jaime Lynn"! OMG I was dying!!! Our first stop was the Capitol Buliding for a kodak, or Olympus moment (the camera I do have). My MIL wanted to make sure I saw something other than the play while we were in Sacramento. While there we took some picks and I almost peed my pants (not hard to do since Emma likes to use my bladder as a pillow or ball, since I am not sure if she is head down yet)because of Eriks Governator impressions... man did he nail them!!! They took us to dinner at an Italian restaurant. Even though I was the only one without wine (in time in time!) the food was awesome and this preggo pigged out on some canneloni. After dinner we were off to the play!!! We had great seats and I as soon as it started I got chills. When the chandelier lights up after the auction the chills just ran up and down my spine! I just love the music!!! I saw the movie first and man the movie does not do the play justice! I am so thankful for this gift, because I would have never seen this on my own!! So thank you Brian and Erik for one of the greatest gifts ever!!!

So, while we were at dinner my BIL and Erik dropped a bombshell on us. They have decided to move to Australia. Yes you heard right AUSTRALIA!! They have put in the application, which because their careers are in high demand over there they will be going! This will take about a year to go through the whole process. Even though we will all miss them we will definately be visiting them!!

The trip was great and my weekend ended as it should...well mostly... with the birth of Addyson! Our friends Dennis and Devon welcomed their little girl June 1st (her due date and first child... so jealous) weighing 9 pounds and 20 or 20 1/2 inches long. Sorry I have momnesia and forgot (momnesia is in fact real... saw it on the news) how long. I got to visit and she is absolutely perfect and so beautiful!!! I cannot wait till Emma is born and our daughters can be buddies!

Okay now my weekend was going perfect till my DH took Angela and her cousin Jessica to the park. I was at home and all of a sudden Angela comes in like her sassy says and tells me "Daddy twisted his knee and we tried calling put you wouldn't pick up." I am thinking "no he didn't." Well in walks in... or should I say limps in Eric. He tells me that while he was chasing the girls he jumps off one of the contraptions and lands on his bad knee twisting it. (has been twisted before and just got fully healed not too long ago). Well a stranger at the park kindly let DH borrow her cell phone to call me. Well the phone did ring (our house phone) and I did not recognize the number. Only 4 people have the number, so when a unfamiliar number calls I DO NOT answer it!! I hate telemarketers and refuse to give them the time of day (sorry if this is your profession... at least you get voicemail and not an angry rude person on the other line). Well I tell Eric, I didn't know the number and wasn't answering (he did call 3 times in a row, but I just thought it was an overzealous telemarketer). Also, I did not see that Eric forgot her cell. Oops... bad wife. I hate when he is hurt, because I know he is frustrated when he can't just do what he wants. He is also unable to play softball... he loves playing! I know I am being self involved, but he couldn't have done this at the worst possible time. We are about 2 months away from my due date and a month away from my baby shower, and I have so much to get done. Especially with all these boxes that need to get to the garage. I just may need to find a sucker who will want to help (((hint hint))) ;0)

So here is the rundown of my weekend. I hope you enjoyed your wine or beverage and my little blog HA HA! Oh and stayed tuned on Wednesday. We have our 3D/4D appointment, so I will definately be sharing the pictures and hopefully video (if I can figure it out). I am so excited to see our Emma with her baby fat! I will be 2 days away from my 30 week mark... can you believe I only have 10 weeks to go? WOO HOO!!!

Happy Memorial Day

I just want to take time and remember our heroes who have fought our country and lost their lives doing it! My grandfather didn't loose his life fighting, but I still remember him today! I also want to remember my great grandmother, who may not have been in the military and died for our country, but took time out of her life by becoming a "Rosie the Riveter". I have other family members who I thank for fighting and am blessed that they are still here with us!

Happy Memorial Day!

Mommy~Daughter Saturday!

Yesterday I decided that my sassy princess and I would have a mother~daughter day! I didn't want to stay in the house all day, so Angela and I got ready early and had great day. First on our stop was getting mani/pedi's. As you can see in the picture above my sassy princess gets very relaxed when she gets her nails done! This is the 3rd time she fell asleep at the nail place. The owner tells me I am not allowed to come in without her, because of this! While I was waiting for Angela to finish I had the best idea to go and register for Emma. I was going to wait till Angela was out of school, but since I was out I thought today would be perfect. My mom even came with us. So our next stop was Baby's R Us. Angela was in charge of the scanner... man that girl can scan! We picked some wonderful things for little Emma. I even scored on some clearance clothes! Four outfits for under 30 dollars... SCORE! We then went to lunch at Lucille's, which got our energy hopping for a trip to Target. I registered here as well... mainly for the stuff that I thought was too expensive at Baby's R Us. Last on our stop was a trip to my grandparents. It is always wonderful to see them! Angela had so much fun playing with thier dogs as well! We had a great time being girly and doing what girls like best.... shop (we did fit in shopping too)!
Now all I need to do is plan the baby shower, or should I say help. With all the people kind enough to want to be involved who knows what I will be able to do :0)! This will be a great party to celebrate my little Emma!
I cannot wait to share Emma's pictures from the 3D/4D ultrasound we will have done on June 4th! I cannot wait to see what my princess looks like!
I am trying to write as much as I can now, because I am going to have a busy next few days, so let's see what do I need to blog about before I go...
Oh yes... I want to stop and remember a vetran of the army, who passed away January 21, 2008... My grandfather Burton Ballew! Not a day goes by where I don't think about him! I was always so fascinated by his army days. He was in WWII and saw a lot of stuff in Europe. He was also injured while fighting for his country. This injury over time got worse and worse and he had to live with migraines on a daily basis. He loved his family! You could never walk by him without recieving a kiss and a hug. The one thing I miss the most about him is the smell of his pipe. I may not care for smoking, but this smell I loved. Everytime I smell something similar I remember my grandfather! I know he is up in Heaven pain free and watching over his famly!!!
I LOVE YOU GRANDPA!!

Happy Mother's Day!

Hope all you mom's out there had as great a Mother's Day as I had! I woke up to my daughter giving me a great big smile saying Happy Mother's Day! (we had a mommy/daughter slumber party) I got a great gift from her (my new fave TV show How I Met Your Mother season 1)! Then of to the in laws for brunch where I got to spend time with the in laws, mom, Angela, DH, and sister Ashley. The adult women went off to the movies to see Baby Mama (hilarious I might add)! For dinner we BBQ'd at my mom's! After playing it at a friends DH went on a mission and found Mario Cart for the Wii and 3 extra wheels. ( The best game EVER!) So I ended the night racing my DH, DD and sister! My last gift was my handmade card (my fave type of gifts) from Angela (see above). Here is what it says:
Mom I love you!
I love you. You love me. It is Mother's Day. May all your dreams come true. Make a wish. Let it go. Now go to bed and your next day will be...
COOL!
This melted my heart! I had the best day! Hope you all had a great Mother's Day!!! MUAH!!

Fifth Month doctors appointment

Today was my fifth month doctors appointment. Emma is growing on schedule! My blood test came back negative and her ultrasound came back perfect also! I don't know why but I am always so anxious and then I hear her heart beat and I calm down. I wish I had one of those heartbeat monitors so I could check it all the time. Right now that is one of my most favorite sounds. After my next appointment I will be going in every other week. Some days it feels like this pregnancy is taking forever, but before I know it, it will be August and my little Emma will be here!

My aunt offered her house for my baby shower. I am so greatful, because she has a lot of room in her house! I cannot wait till July 20th (Angela picked the date)!

Friday will begin my sixth month. I hope May goes by fast. May 30th I will be heading to Sacramento to see The Phantom of the Opera... my BIL and his boyfriend are treating my MIL and myself!! I am so excited and also nervous. For those who know me know that I HATE flying. I will definately have my ipod and reading material!

Introductions First

Angela Theresa

Angela is my oldest princess. She is 7 years old. From the day she was born she has figured how to push the limits. She has a lot of energy! I wish she would share, but instead she likes to drain mine! She is in the second grade and struggling more than she has in the previous grades. I try to help, but she is stubborn and loves doing it all on her own! She may have her moments, but man can she make this mommy laugh! She has a way of helping you forget your stresses. She is also very observant and will pretend to be asleep in the car just so she can hear what mommy and daddy say. An example of this is the night Eric and I found out we were having another baby. We were in the car with my sister and didn't want Angela to find out till I went to the doctors the next morning. We thought she was asleep and told my sister the news. As soon as the words left my lips her eyes opened and she perked right up and said, "Mommy your pregnant?" We have finally realized we are not safe anymore. She is also a little mommy wanting to know EVERYTHING that goes on! She will take my cell phone and read my texts from her daddy, just in case we are keeping secrets. She learns something everyday and I love the fact that she keeps me on my toes!

Emma Constance

Emma is already showing us that nothing comes easy. My pregnancy with Angela was uneventful, not Emma! I have had morning sickness, and all the aches and pains a pregnant woman can endure. Even finding out the sex was a battle! My first ultrasound showed that she was hiding behind my placenta. I thought my second one was going to be better! It started out that way. She was in perfect position and we were able to see her stomach, bladder, and heart. When the tech went to check the "sex area" we got a perfect, clear picture of knees tightly closed together. After that ultrasound I was starting to see neutral colors in my future. After talking my deares husband into it, he finally agreed to pay for a gender check ultrasound at a privately owned ultrasound place (not sure what the technical name for it is). In preparation I drank my one and only caffienated soda for this pregnancy, a yummy Mr. Pibb. After some coaxing the tech was finally able to get a great shot that proved "It's a girl"! We are very excited! I am now hoping for the remainder of this pregnancy to be unevenful. I have been to the ER twice already and am ready for some smooth sailing. August 15, 2008 can't come any faster!

My Husband Eric

Eric is my one constant rock! He is my first love and my soul mate! We have been married for 8 years now and the ride just gets better and better! He is a great father and exhibits the most patience I have ever seen! He is such a supportive husband and father! I love the fact that he is my manly man, but still has that softer side! I do not know what I would do without this man. It is sometimes weird to think that I have been with this man since I was 17 years old, and still fall in love with him each day! How could I not love him since he has given me my 2 princess!!
