HAPPY BIRTHDAY AUNTIE ASHLEY!!
LOVE,
The Princesses!
I am a blessed mommy to 2 princesses. One is a sassy princess with style and the other is a princess in training!
Sassy's soccer team made it to the Friendship Cup this year, so we are very excited! They ended the season in 2nd place! It is nice to know that Sassy has found something she loves to do and always strives to be better!
Emma will be 4 months a week from today! I can't believe how fast the time is flying! She is just so much fun! She laughs and plays with me during the day. Angela is our life saver, because she can calm Emma down no matter what! Here is a pic of Emma playing.
This picture was taken on September 4th, 2008 my grandfathers first birthday in heaven. I took the girls to his grave site so we could bring flowers and introduce Princess In Training to her great-grandfather! Sassy was very close to her great-grandfather and his death hit her hard. Sadly, she saw first hand how cancer can deteriorate a person! She absolutely loved him and in this picture she was hugging him, while telling him Happy Birthday! This picture may remind me that he will never meet "P-I-T", but it is precious all the same!
This is my first Thousand Word Thursday! I got the idea from Jen over at Cheaper Than Therapy... check her out and join in on the fun!
Emma is already showing us that nothing comes easy. My pregnancy with Angela was uneventful, not Emma! I have had morning sickness, and all the aches and pains a pregnant woman can endure. Even finding out the sex was a battle! My first ultrasound showed that she was hiding behind my placenta. I thought my second one was going to be better! It started out that way. She was in perfect position and we were able to see her stomach, bladder, and heart. When the tech went to check the "sex area" we got a perfect, clear picture of knees tightly closed together. After that ultrasound I was starting to see neutral colors in my future. After talking my deares husband into it, he finally agreed to pay for a gender check ultrasound at a privately owned ultrasound place (not sure what the technical name for it is). In preparation I drank my one and only caffienated soda for this pregnancy, a yummy Mr. Pibb. After some coaxing the tech was finally able to get a great shot that proved "It's a girl"! We are very excited! I am now hoping for the remainder of this pregnancy to be unevenful. I have been to the ER twice already and am ready for some smooth sailing. August 15, 2008 can't come any faster!
My Husband Eric
Eric is my one constant rock! He is my first love and my soul mate! We have been married for 8 years now and the ride just gets better and better! He is a great father and exhibits the most patience I have ever seen! He is such a supportive husband and father! I love the fact that he is my manly man, but still has that softer side! I do not know what I would do without this man. It is sometimes weird to think that I have been with this man since I was 17 years old, and still fall in love with him each day! How could I not love him since he has given me my 2 princess!!
